FAD CONCLUSION.

Having completed my FMP and by extension FAD as a whole I am left with a feeling of immense relief but I am also a bit conflicted about the quality of the work I produced this year and in this project. I am generally happy with my outcome of this project but there are still a few things that I would have liked to do. If I had more time some of the smaller details would have been more refined and I would have liked to make a film, however for its purpose I think my outcome was sufficient. On the year as a whole, I think I am definitely producing work at a higher level than I was in high school but I am left unsure if this is due to genuine improvement or just a byproduct of working on art full-time for the first time in my life and thus spending far more time on each project. It is a bit frustrating having no objective way to measure my improvement over the course of the year and at times I can't shake the feeling that I peaked in project you. Since receiving my womenswear offer I have been trying to deal with this by telling myself that whatever I've been doing is obviously working so I should just keep making stuff and I guess that's all I can really do about that at the moment. This year I definitely struggled with my time management and procrastination, especially with reflections wich is ironic because I am writing one right now. My procrastination and poor time management skills will likely be one of my biggest challenges in the near future so I will try to experiment with different ways of action planning to keep myself on track over the summer and hopefully enter my BA on better footing. I also slightly regret not having spent more time trying to learn new skills this year as the pressure of BA applications forced me to play to my strengths and not take as many risks as I could have and ideally would have liked to. Otherwise, I can say that I am happy enough with the body of work I have produced this year to be able to call my FAD a success.
